It is the mission of the government of Elk Grove Township to carry out the duties and responsibilities of Township government as prescribed by Illinois law, to provide for the health, safety and welfare of Township citizens of all ages, to maintain the highways and property of the Township professionally and economically and to carry out this mission in a timely and efficient manner with the highest degree of service to the taxpayers, thereby continuing the tradition of Elk Grove Township.

A note from your Township Supervisor
Well, it seems that spring is finally here and what a welcome relief! With families getting ready for that much anticipated spring cleaning project, we need your help! We are in great need of children's books for our in house library. Our award winning library was born out of necessity for our residents who live in unincorporated Elk Grove Township. All residents can choose from our many different category's. All of our books come from community donations. Making a difference in a child's life is one of life's most rewarding and memorable things we can do! Please keep us in mind as you get ready to enjoy the summer months ahead and by chance if you have some gently used children's books we would be happy to have them. Have a safe and productive season ahead.

For your convenience, Elk Grove Township is now able to accept passport applications. This service is available Monday through Friday by appointment only. Click on the icon for a link to the U.S. Dept. of State website where you can download applications and instructions. Please call 847-437-0300 to schedule an appointment.
